As a child, Sonya Buchanan was baptized at the age of 6. She was active in the youth ministry as a speaker reciting poetry. At the age of 12, she received her first job as a babysitter for a family of two children. At the age of 16, she received her first corporate job at Fort Gillian Army Base as a Data Processor Administrator support.
In 2003, her first book, Victorious Victor, was published which has recently been taken off the market. In 2015, Sonya Buchanan published her second book, The Journey. The book reveals a 10-year journey about faith, experience, failures, and success. She later has published 9 books and 4 children's educational books. Her 10th book will be published in 2024.
In 2011 Sonya Buchanan founded Comforting Promises. her efforts focused on being the best you and living your best life. in 2015 she changed the name to Comforting Promises Broadcast. the new name is aimed to uplift and authentically explore life through broadcasting.
In the year of 2020, Sonya became an international teacher, with two online courses reaching students globally, in addition, she launched The Sonya Buchanan Show podcast.
Sonya Buchanan is similar to so many whose career and passion are on two opposite bridges. combining the two could be explosive and with meaningful results.
She has been working in corporate business for over 30 years, and her teaching and speaking resided in corporate as well as ministry. Corporate has provided various skills in customer service, business compliance, team productivity, and corporate diversity.
